Bus Travel

The GNLC bus service has been established to improve our student’s journey to and from school, as well as provide transport for excursions. Our modern bus fleet includes: a 57-seater, a 41-seater, a 31-seater and 11-seater.

The current fleet of buses is proportionate to the numbers of students using the service and is constantly reviewed in line with projected student growth and new housing estate demands.

Current pick up and drop off suburbs include:

  • Hoppers Crossing
  • Tarneit
  • Werribee
  • Wyndham Vale
  • Manor Lakes
  • Point Cook
  • Truganina
  • Williams Landing
  • Mambourin

Our buses are equipped with the ‘RollCall’ system which allows parents to have live tracking of the bus and see when their child/ren have ‘fobbed on’ and ‘fobbed off’ the bus using their bus fobs (provided by RollCall/College). Further details for the RollCall mobile app can be found on SchoolBox.

The 2024 fees for bus travel are $450 per student per term for full-time travel. Casual travel will be charged $10 per trip for one-off trips only. Casual travel is not always available due to limited seating capacity and is subject to arrangement with the Bus Coordinator by emailing bus@goodnews.vic.edu.au. The cost of using the bus service will be added to the school fees as a separate entry.

Good News Lutheran College acknowledges that our loving Creator God
first gave the land on which we are placed to the peoples of the First Nations, who have walked and cared for this land since before recorded time. We thank God for the land’s Traditional Custodians and pay our respects to Elders as we travel this journey of reconciliation in Australia.
